Mamelodi Sundowns managed to lift their third successive Absa Premiership title and a record 10th title after cruising to a comfortable win over Black Leopards on Saturday.

A hat-trick from the impressive Lebohang Maboe helped guide Masandawana to a record-extending 10th PSL title at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto.

With the victory the Brazilians finished top of the table and two points above second-placed Kaizer Chiefs, who were the front-runners to clinch the title ahead of Sundowns, but their 1-1 draw with Baroka denied them the chance to trump Pitso Mosimane’s side.
