Orlando Pirates returned to winning ways against Sekhukhune United while Cape Town City extended their unbeaten in the DStv Premiership.

Cape Town City vs Chippa United

Cape Town City extended their winning run in the league to four matches following their 2-1 victory over Chippa United at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town.

The home side opened the scoring through a 38th minute strike by Thabiso Kutumela before former City player Craig Martin levelled matters in the 67th minute but Khanyisa Mayo scored the winning goal after he headed the ball home in the 89th minute.

The win sees City remain in fourth place on the log with 19 points after 11 matches, while Chippa are placed seventh with 14 points from 11 matches.

Orlando Pirates vs Sekhukhune United

Orlando Pirates returned to winning ways in the league after they clinched a narrow 1-0 win over Sekhukhune United thanks to a 79th minute goal from Thabiso Monyane at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto.

The win saw Pirates move up to ninth place on the table with 12 points from nine games, while Sekhukhune dropped down to 13th position with 11 points from 11 matches.

Royal AM vs Golden Arrows

Royal AM ended their four-match winless run in the league to claim a 1-0 victory over Arrows through a goal by Menzi Masuku at the Harry Gwala Stadium.

Royal AM remains in 14th place on the log with 11 points from 10 games despite claiming a win, while Arrows remain in third place with 20 points from 10 matches.

Stellenbosch FC vs Richards Bay

Stellenbosch FC returned to winning ways in the league following their 2-1 win over Richards Bay FC when a brace by Iqraam Rayners cancelled out a goal from Boikanyo Komane at the Danie Craven Stadium.

Following their win, Stellies have moved up to eighth place on the table with 13 points after 10 games, while Richards Bay remain second from the bottom with six points after 11 matches.
