Watch as Mamelodi Sundowns’ new signing Lucas Ribeiro Costa showcases his class and skills during pre-season training with Masandawana.

The 24-year-old midfielder comes to the Brazilians from the Challenger Pro League team SK Beveren in Belgium.

Costa had a great season with Beveren in 2022–23. He helped score 19 goals, including 11 goals and eight assists, in 33 games across all competitions.

The midfielder from Brazil is Sundowns’ third new player after Junior Mendieta and Lesiba Nku.

Costa has played for Valenciennes, Virton, Charleroi, RWDM47, Mouscron, Waasland-Beveren, and SK Beveren during his career. He has scored 24 goals and set up 15 others in 90 games.
