Former SuperSport United and Sekhukhune United coach Kaitano Tembo is back in the Premier Soccer League after he was appointed as the new head coach of Richards Bay.

The Natal Rich Boyz have been without a head coach since the sacking of Vasili Manousakis.

Richards Bay has since found a new head coach after announcing the appointment of Tembo, who has been without a job since leaving Sekhukhune United in November 2022.

This will be the third time the 52-year-old takes charge of a top-flight club having previously coached SuperSport United and Sekhukhune United.

“Richards Bay Football Club would like to confirm the appointment of Kaitano Tembo as the new Head Coach,” Richards bay announced on Twitter.

“Kaitano Tembo is a familiar face in the South African Football, he has been in DSTV Premiership with the likes of SuperSport United Football Club and Sekhukhune United Football Club respectively.

“We welcome the coach and wish him all the best.”
