Cape Town Spurs have continued to bolster their squad after capturing the services of defender Tshepo Gumede after parting ways with Maritzburg United.

The 32-year-old joins the club bring a wealth of experience, having previously played for SuperSport United, Platinum Stars, Orlando Pirates, Cape Town City, AmaZulu, Cape Umoya United, Marumo Gallants, and most recently Maritzburg United.

Throughout his career, Gumede has scored one goal and registered one assist in 204 appearances across all competitions.

Gumede joined the club as a free agent after parting ways with the Team of Choice in December, where he made 17 appearances for the Team of Choice.

He joined as a free agent after his exit from Maritzburg this season where he featured 17 times.

“Former Maritzburg United defender, Tshepo Gumede joins the Urban Warriors,” Spurs announced on social media.
