Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena says he is fully focused on their upcoming DStv Premiership encounter against Golden Arrows on Wednesday.

The Brazilians have already secured the league title for the seventh consecutive season and are currently unbeaten in the league so far this season.

Sundowns ended Stellies’ unbeaten run across all competitions after securing a 2-1 victory at the Danie Craven Stadium in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup.

The Tshwane giant are now set to take on defending champions Orlando Pirates in the final which will be played at the Mbombela Stadium on June 1 but Mokwena says his only focus now is on facing Arrows in the next match.

“Yea, but first is the next league match against Golden Arrows and then we have to go and try to finish the league properly, like the defending champions and then we will see,” Mokwena told SuperSport United TV after the game.

“We will cross the Pirates bridge when we get to it. Now let’s put our feet on the ground, celebrate the win for sure, it’s important for us but also at the same time keep our feet on the ground, stay humble, stay focused, there’s still quite a number of games to be played before the final.”
