Kaizer Chiefs coach Cavin Johnson has urged his side to continue their momentum heading into the second half of the DStv Premiership.

The Glamour Boys are currently on a four-game unbeaten run in the league with three wins and a draw from their last four matches.

Amakhosi currently occupy sixth place in the league standings with 24 points from 16 games, 11 points behind log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

Johnson is confident his side will turn their season around as he believes they can play at a higher level when the league resumes.

“If I am in charge of the team in this mini-break (the PSL is suspended for the duration of the AFCON tournament), I’ll work harder than ever before, because we want to start 2024 in the same positive mode as we have ended 2023,” Johnson told his club’s official website.

“I have already planned what we are going to do. It is not just Cavin Johnson; it’s the great technical staff I work with, and we are all working together so that we see a much better Kaizer Chiefs when we restart the league.”
