Catch up with highlights from Monday night’s DStv Premiership action where Mamelodi Sundowns were forced to settle for a point after Baroka came back to earn a 1-1 draw at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Monday evening.

Lyle Lakay almost opened the scoring for the Brazilians as his free kick came crashing off the woodwork before Baroka were then awarded a penalty minutes later after Rushine De Reuck was adjudged to have handled the ball in the area. However, Mashweu Mphahlele stepped up but blazed his spot kick over the crossbar.

Lakay was looking dangerous and in 38th minute he once again saw a powerful effort crash off the post. His persistence finally paid off early in the second half as he fired in a free kick to hand his side the lead.

The Brazilians were looking to put the game to bed and came inches away from doing so, but Lakay hit the woodwork for a third time on the day six minutes after the opener.

The defending champions were seconds away from clinching the three points, but Baroka managed to snatch a point late on as Richard Mbulu found the back of the net with a first-time volley to earn his side a 1-1 draw in Polokwane.
