The was heartbreak, celebrations and high emotions at the Harry Gwala Stadium after Cape Town Spurs gained promotion to the DStv Premiership following their goalless draw against Maritzburg United on Wednesday evening.

The team of Choice came into this clash needing a win to ensure their promotion back to the top-flight while Spurs needed either a win or a draw to secure their passage to the DStv Premiership.

However, Spurs held strong to grind out a goalless draw against Maritzburg at the Harry Gwala Stadium to secure the place in the DStv Premiership for the 2023-24 season.
