AmaZulu gives update on Maluleka after collapsing for second time

AmaZulu has given an update on midfielder George Maluleka after he collapsed on the field during their 1-0 defeat to Swallows FC at the Moses Mabhida Stadium this past weekend.

The 34-year-old gave everyone scare when he collapsed in the middle of the field during their DStv Premiership match against Swallows FC.

The ambulance rush onto the field to aid the veteran midfielder before he was taken to the sidelines for further treatment.

Maluleka was then rushed to the hospital immediately after the incident, being the second time he collapsed on the pitch this season.

Usuthu has since revealed that Maluleka was discharged from the hospital after receiving medical treatment.

“Thanks for your kind messages towards George Maluleke who required immediate medical attention right before the match against Swallows was about to end at Moses Mabhida,” AmaZulu confirmed on their Official Twitter page.

“Mido was discharged after a number of tests were conducted by our medics.”
