Cape Town City owner John Comitis says he is looking to add two keepers to strengthen their goalkeeping department for the upcoming season.

The Citizens already have veteran shot-stopper Shu-Aib Walters between the sticks, with Samora Motloung and Tatenda Mukuruva as back-up goalkeepers.

The club’s owner revealed that he is looking at signing two contenders to rival City’s No 1 shot-stopper, Walters, for the season ahead.

‘We are still unsettled with the depth of our goalkeeping department,’ Comitis told KickOff.com.

‘Shu-Aib is our number one, but we have to push him and keep him on his toes.

‘There are two or three keepers we are looking at, just to reinforce that department, and at this stage that is all I can comment on.

‘One locally and one abroad. We are just trying to locate the guy to get him here.’

The Citizens have already made six signings, including Teko Modise, Ayanda Patosi, Jeitoso, Lyle Lakay, Taariq Fielies and Craig Martin.
