Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that rising star Nkosingiphile Ngcobo is set to undergo further tests to determine the extent of his Achilles injury.
The 19-year-old sustained an Achilles tendon injury and was stretchered off the field during Amakhosi’s Absa Premiership encounter against SuperSport United on Friday evening.
The Glamour Boys released a statement confirming that Ngcobo has injured his Achilles tendon and will see a specialist to discover the extend of his injury.

Meanwhile, Itumeleng Khune, Lebogang Manyama, Happy Mashiane, Jospeh Molangoane, Erick Mathoho and Lorenzo Gordinho remain sidelined as they continue to recover from their respective injuries.
