The awards keep coming for Kaizer Chiefs this season after Dumisani Zuma bagged the Absa Premiership Goal of the Month award for his strike against Chippa United in November.

The PSL handed out the first individual award of 2020 on Tuesday when they announced the Chiefs man as the winner of the fan-selected Goal of the Month.

The midfielder’s triumph takes Chiefs’ total number of awards this season to four after coach Ernst Middendorp picked up all three Manager of the Month awards and Daniel Akpeyi won the Player of the Month for the combined months of September/October.

The award also comes just a day after Akpeyi won the Nigerian Goalkeeper of the Year award.

While the fan favourite hasn’t been able to nail down a starting spot in Ernst Middendorp’s team, he has been able to come off the bench to devastating effect as his side has gone on to amass a nine-point lead at the top of the league.

The attacker scored a brace against Chippa in November, with his second strike winning the award, before netting against Stellenbosch FC a few weeks later to grab his third goal of the season.

The award will undoubtedly boost Zuma’s confidence as Chiefs look to maintain their league position.
