Kaizer Chiefs have handed contract extensions to senior players Itumeleng Khune, Khama Billiat, Bernard Parker, Lebogang Manyama and Ramahlwe Mphahlele.

The club made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon just minutes after revealing the signings of Keagan Dolly and Cole Alexander.

With the double signing now confirmed, Chiefs have brought in a total of 10 new players to Naturena.

With so many incomings there would have to be several players leaving, but not on that departures list are the host of senior players who were handed extensions on their deals.

Khune has signed a two-year deal extension at Naturena extending his stay to 19 years at the club after first being promoted to the club’s first team back in 2004.

Billiat was also given a two-year extension despite not featuring regularly last season while Manayama has signed a one-year deal with the option of a further year, which will see them both stay at Chiefs until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Veterans Parker and Mphahlele were each awarded a one-year contract after playing important roles last season.

Chiefs are expected to announce the departures soon, with Willard Katsande believed to be one of those on his way out.
