Cape Town City have announced the signing of attacking midfielder Siyabonga Dubula from FC Cape Town.

Dubula now joins the like of youngsters Raphael Georgiades and Mozambique international Edmilson Dove as the club’s new signing during the January transfer window.

City released a statement which read:

‘Cape Town City Football Club is proud to announce the signing of midfielder, Siyabonga Dubula.’

‘The local Cape Town boy from Delft is one of the top prospects in the country and we have no doubt that he has a bright future at CTCFC.

‘The club has purchased Dubula from local NFD outfit FC Cape Town and this big transfer is testament to the bridges that CTCFC is building with other Cape Town clubs to promote and develop our local talent at the highest level.’
