Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Zimbabwean international Khama Billiat will make his Amakhosi debut against Buya Msuthu in the Bokone Bophirima Maize Cup.

The Soweto giants will take on the ABC Motsepe League side in the semi-final of the inaugural tournament at the James Motlatsi Stadium in Klerksdorp on Saturday

The other semi-final will see Chippa United come up against Free State Stars at the same venue with kick-off scheduled for 12:00.

Chiefs’ football manager Bobby Motaung confirmed that the Maze Cup will give new signing Billiat the opportunity to make his first appearance in an Amakhosi jersey.

‘The Maize Cup will also be an opportunity to see Khama Billiat in action for the first time wearing the Gold & Black jersey,’ Motaung told his club’s official website.

The winners of the respective semi-final games will square-off in the final, which will take place at the James Motlatsi Stadium with kick-off set for 16:00.
