Hear what Jomo Cosmos coach and owner Jomo Sono had to say to the media in the buildup to his side’s Nedbank Cup last-32 clash with Hungry Lions.

The legendary South African football figure opened up to the media at the PSL offices in the lead-up to their clash with ABC Motsepe side Hungry Lions.

Sono’s team are currently struggling in the Glad Africa Championship as they sit in 14th after 20 games played.

The 64-year-old admitted that he will be looking to use the cup game to help build some confidence in the side. Also, while they are out of contention for promotion, he is looking to build a platform for next season.

Cosmos have endured a number of seasons in the second division. Sono said while he is happy because he is still in football, he misses the glitz and glamour of the South African top flight, before he touched on the contentious level of officiating in the second division.
