Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Sibusiso Vilakazi says his side are motivated to reach the Nedbank Cup finals ahead of their Last 32 encounter against Mariveni United.

The Brazilians drew Mariveni United in the round of 32 for the Nedbank which took place last week Thursday in Johannesburg.

The 27-year-old has urged his side not to underestimate United but he remains positive that Sundowns can make it all the way to the finals of the competition.

‘It’s quite an interesting one. But It’s a cup game, and in a cup game you have one shot to either win or you are out. But we will gather as much information as possible about them. We want to win,’ Vilakazi told the Mamelodi Sundown website.

‘The game keeps changing. It’s going to be a good test for us and also for them.We are motivated. We take it as a cup final.

‘It will be very special. We have a good squad, but this will be very interesting.’

Mamelodi Sundowns will next take on Bloemfontein Celtic in the Absa Premiership on Wednesday.

The match at the Dr Molemela Stadium kicks off at 19:30.
