Three seasons ago Matsatsantsa lifted the trophy after a penalty shootout victory over Cape Town City, but they failed to defend their crown last season as City got their revenge with a penalty shootout victory of their own.

United now though face a determined and disciplined side in Owen Da Gama’s charges this season and are not taking their opponents lightly.

SuperSport invited the media to their training ground on Monday as they look ahead to the final.

At the open day SuperSport captain Dean Furman spoke of his side’s discipline and the work rate needed to overcome the Lions of the North.

Williams on the importance of the game and wanting to avoid penalties this time around.

Grobler spoke of his targets for the season and Modiba opened up on overcoming rivals Sundowns in the semi-final, while also playing down their favourites tag for the MTN8 final.
