Bidvest Wits midfielder Sifiso Myeni says he is excited to be a part of the MTN8 finals when his side takes on Mamelodi Sundowns at the Mbombela Stadium on Saturday.

The 28-year-old, who left the club back in 2012 has now recently rejoined the Clever Boys from Orlando Pirates at the start of the 2016-17 season.

The former Buccaneer says he is excited to be a part of another cup final with the team he won the Nedbank Cup with back in 2010.

‘This is a completely new club that I have come back to the only people that are the same are the ladies who cook,’ Myeni told the Bidvest Wits website.

‘We have a really good squad and everyone works hard for one another. The last time the club has won anything was the Nedbank Cup in 2010 and I was a part of the team back then and I am excited to be a part of the MTN8 final now.’

Myeni continues to say that his side has been working hard to prepare for their MTN8 finals against the Brazilians having already overcome the Soweto giants.

‘It’s all about us and how hard we work to play. Beating Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates is in the past. We worked hard in all our previous matches and that is what we have to do on Saturday.’

The final kicks off at 17:00.
