Cape Town City have confirmed the appointment of Dutch coach Jan Vreman as the club’s new head coach.
The Dutch coach comes in to replace Diogo Pera as the Citizens prepare for life in the Motsepe Foundation Championship following their relegation from the Betway Premiership.

Vreman brings experience, having coached the De Graafschap youth team, senior team as assistant manager and interim manager on two occasions.

The 59-year-old says he will do what it takes to get the Citizens back into the top-flight where they belong.
“We want to play attractive football. Football that wins us games and earns the respect of fans and everyone that watches us,” Vreman said.
“We want to fill the stands and give people a reason to show up and believe in us.
“Yes, of course we have a good team. it’s been a difficult year, but these are quality players, and we will do everything to get this club to where ut belongs.”
