French international Paul Pogba broke down in tears after he signed for Ligue 1 side AS Monaco, marking his return to football.
Pogba marked his return to football after joining Monaco as a free agent when he signed a two-year contract with the Ligue 1 side.
The 32-year-old returns to football after seven months without a club after agreeing to the mutual termination of his Juventus contract in November last year.
The Frenchman was initially banned from football for four years in February 2024 for a doping offence, but it was reduced to 18 months.
“AS Monaco are delighted to announce the arrival of Paul Pogba. The French World Champion has signed a 2-season deal, and is now tied to the Principality until 30 June 2027,” Monaco said in a statement.
