Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez has given the clearest hint yet that he could be set for a La Liga exit.

Unused in the Club World Cup final against Kashima Antlers, the Colombian superstar is now edging towards a move to the Premier League.

‘I have offers and seven days left to think about my future,’ revealed James after the match.

‘I am happy in Madrid, but I want to play more. I have a bitter feeling as I wanted to play the final, but I am happy for the title. It’s the 15th title in my career.’

James is still likely to cost upwards of £60-million with Chelsea in pole position with Oscar set to move to China in a blockbuster deal.

James shot into stardom during the 2014 World Cup after a number of dazzling displays for Colombia with Madrid moving quickly to seal his transfer.

The now 25-year-old join Los Blancos for a fee in the region of €80-million and still has three and half years on his current deal but has fallen out of favour with Zinedine Zidane.
