Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger says his side are ‘ready for the challenge’ when they come up against Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup.
The German defender has been ever-present in the Los Blancos squad and has only missed one Club World Cup fixture.
Los Blancos are preparing themselves for their coming semi-final clash against Paris Saint-Germain when the two sides meet at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Wednesday.
Real come into this fixture after claiming a 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals played at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Rudiger is expecting a ‘tough’ clash against the European champions as both sides fight for a place in the final.
“PSG are a very, very tough team to play against,” Rudiger told FIFA.
“They’ve shown they’re one of the best teams in Europe, so it’ll be a hard match. But we’re Real Madrid and we’re ready for the challenge.”
Real Madrid against Paris Saint-Germain is scheduled to kick-off at 9pm on Wednesday.
