Paris Saint-Germain starlet Bradley Barcola has shrugged off the notion that his side are favourites to win the Club World Cup.

The 22-year-old reached a milestone for the club after making his 100th appearance for the French giants.

Paris clinched their place in the Club World Cup quarter-finals after they claimed a 4-2 win over Flamengo on Sunday evening.

The French outfit are now set to go head-to-head with Bayern Munich as they square off for a place in the semi-finals.

Barcola was delighted to get 90 minutes under his belt and was happy with his overall performance against the Brazilians side.

“We set the pace throughout the game. There was only going to be one outcome in that match,” Barcola said.

“It’s been a long time since I played 90 minutes as a starter – so I did well. I’ve been training well and I was happy with my performance today.

“Favourites? I don’t know about that. But when we play like we did today, we are unstoppable. In terms of pressing, playing, scoring, we did everything we needed to do – it was one of our best matches.”
