Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa says he could not hide his disappointment, following their 1-0 defeat against Millwall in the FA Cup on Saturday.

The Foxes failed to advance to the next round of the competition after their defeat against the Lions through a late goal by Shaun Cummings.

The 24-year-old striker believes his side were unlucky to concede a 90th-minute goal, despite having a good performance.

‘Everybody in the team is angry and upset. We had the confidence that we were going to play the game and we played well, but at the end of 90 minutes they had the one chance and they scored a goal,’ Musa told the Leicester City website.

‘It’s a very difficult game for us and everybody – the manager and the lads – are upset in the dressing room. We were unlucky today I thought. In the first half, it could have been 3-0, but that is football.’

The Nigerian international says he was left frustrated after the match, but insists that his side have to focus on the next match.

‘They were just defending and then tried to get into space on the counter. After they went one man down, that was what they were doing until the end of 90 minutes,’ he added.

‘It’s frustrating, but that is football and there is nothing we can do now. We have to concentrate on the next game.’

Leicester City will be hoping to bounce back when they take on Seville in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The match at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan kicks off at 21:45.
