Manchester United host Saint-Etienne in the first leg of their last-32 tie on Thursday as Paul Pogba welcomes his brother, Florentin, to Old Trafford.

The hosts have lost just one of their last 22 matches in all competitions and head into the encounter on the back of a 2-0 win over Watford last weekend.

The match will centre around the Pogba name, with the brothers set to meet each other for the first time in a competitive outing.

The Red Devils will not be able to call upon Phil Jones, Michael Carrick and Wayne Rooney but Luke Shaw is in the running to make a rare appearance under Mourinho.

‘Phil is still recovering from the injury of the Wigan match. Wayne and Michael are, I don’t want to say injured, because I don’t think we are talking about injuries,’ Mourinho told the media.

‘We are speaking about little muscular problem and protection of these problems, so all three are out tomorrow and, apart from that, everything is alright.’

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is likely to start upfront and has enjoyed much success against Les Verts scoring 14 goals in 13 matches. Eric Bailly and  Ander Herrera will miss the return leg if booked on Thursday.

Saint-Etienne have never won in England, while United are unbeaten against French opposition when playing at home.
