Manchester United have been drawn against Anderlecht in the Europa League quarter-finals following the draw on Friday afternoon.

The quarter-final draw in Nyon, Switzerland, set up a mouthwatering clash between Manchester United and Anderlecht, with the Belgium side winning three and losing three of their six games against the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Spanish side Celta de Vigo will take on Belgium side Genk in their encounter, Celta having played Belgian opposition only twice before, drawing 1-1 away and at home against Club Brugge in the 2003-04 Champions League group stage.

Genk have already lost in Spain this season, going down 5-3 against Atletic Club in the group stage of the competition.

Ajax and Schalke are set to go head-to-head in what is expected to be an entertaining fixture between the two sides, while Lyon are up against Turkish side Besiktas.

The first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals will take place on April 13 with the second legs taking place a week later on April 20.

The draw for the semi-finals will take place on April 21.
