Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho says he was disappointed in his side following their goalless draw with Hull City at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

The Red Devils remain in sixth position with 41 points, having won 11 of the 22 matches in the Premier League this season.

The Portuguese manager

‘I am not happy with the result, I will not criticise the opponent, they are fighting for their life and a point for them is a bonus,’ Mourinho told the Manchester United website.

‘They have to fight with everything they have and they tried to see what they were allowed to do. If I was in their position fighting for their life, fighting for the points that could mean a lot for them in the end, then I am not critical with them at all.’

Manchester United will next take on Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday.

The match at the King Power Stadium kicks off at 18:00.
