Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho admits that his main focus is on their upcoming encounter against Everton at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

The Red Devils recently played out to their 11th stalemate this season following their 0-0 with West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Portuguese manager says he will be hoping his side can produce a positive result against the Toffees before they travel to Sunderland.

‘Against Everton, we’ll try to play our best team and try to win the match,’ Mourinho told the Manchester United website.

‘After Everton, we go to Sunderland with the same perspective. After Sunderland comes the Europa League and then I don’t know.’

Mourinho admits that his only focus this week is on their two clashes in the Premier League, as they look to rediscover their form.

‘Until it’s mathematically impossible, we keep trying and, because this week is a week without the Europa League, we have nothing to think about Europe so this week is easy from the focus point of view,’ He added.

‘We have to play Everton and Sunderland and these two matches are where we have to go for them. We’re thinking about the Premier League and nothing else.

‘After the match against Sunderland, we have Anderlecht. The quarter-finals of the Europa League are very important for us.’

Manchester United will now welcome Everton to Old Trafford when the two sides go head-to-head in the Premier League on Tuesday.

Kick-off has been set for 21:00.
