Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed that he has a fully fit squad ahead of their Premier League clash against Bournemouth on Monday.

The Blues now have a chance to move into second place in the Premier League standings if they can overcome the Cherries at the Vitality Stadium.

The 46-year-old manager says he is happy with the current form of his players and he believes the team has improved their performances in recent weeks.

‘Everyone is fit. They are training amazing. I am so happy to be here with these players. The only regret is I have players in the stand who cannot play,’ Guardiola told the Manchester City website.

‘When I see the first half against Swansea it is what I want. We monopolised the ball – we did not create too many chances because it is so difficult.

‘Since Tottenham at home, West Ham and Crystal Palace, I think we are more stable, we control more.’

Guardiola went on to praise the Cherries, while also admitting that there is no doubt that Bournemouth will prove to be a difficult team to beat.

‘But every game is completely different. Bournemouth is a tough, tough team. I admire my colleague and think it will be a tough game,’ He added.

‘Bournemouth start really well. Last few years, it’s outstanding what they have done. They are so aggressive. They are an honest team. They want to do something. They are fast guys to use the counter-attack.

‘I know what happened against Liverpool, Arsenal – big teams – it will be a tough game, I have no doubts about that.’

Manchester City will now travel to the Vitality Stadium when they play Bournemouth in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Kick-off has been set for 21:45.
