The Premier League continues to thrill fans around the world and week 27 is unlikely to be any different, writes DEAN WORKMAN.

Seven things to expect from this weekend’s Premier League action:

1) Liverpool and Arsenal blockbuster

In the weekends standout fixture Arsenal travel to Anfield to take on an indifferent Liverpool side. The Reds have endured a torrid 2017 so far with only one victory in the league. Despite this bad form, Liverpool have raised their game against the big teams and they are expected to do it again this weekend. However, Arsene Wenger’s men are also desperate for the points, so expect a thrilling goal filled clash at Anfield which could ultimately see the points shared.

2) Zlatan’s hot streak to continue

After his cup winning double against Southampton last weekend Zlatan Ibrahimović and his Manchester United teammates are brimming with confidence going into their clash with Bournemouth at Old Trafford this weekend. Expect the Red Devils main man to dominate again and get his name on the score sheet yet again.
3) Leicester to continue revival
The Champions come into this weekend’s clash with relegation rivals Hull off a massive confidence boosting 3-1 win over Liverpool. Although Hull have been resurgent as of late, expect the Foxes to put in another good performance in front of their home crowd and gain another vital three points.

4) Spurs to edge Everton

In a mouthwatering fixture, Tottenham Hotspurs host Everton at White Hart Lane this weekend. In a clash between two of league’s top strikers, Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku, the points could well be decided by which player performs best. With both teams looking to keep the pressure on the teams around them, expect a tight clash to be edged by Spurs.

5) Aguero to hit top form

Sergio Aguero has struggled to hit top form in recent weeks but after a good display in the Champions League against Monaco and the FA Cup against Huddersfield, the Argentine looks to be regaining his scoring form. Expect Aguero to hit the back of the net this weekend as Manchester City travel to the Stadium of Light to take on Sunderland.

6) Stoke City to bounce back

Stoke City were on the wrong end of a 4-0 thrashing courtesy of Tottenham Hotspurs last weekend. Mark Hughes will expect a response from his team as they host Middlesbrough this weekend at the bet365 stadium. While Boro who have been struggling for goals as of late, they will be desperate for three points to ease their relegation worries. However expect Stoke to come out on top in what promises to be a tight encounter.

7) Swansea to overcome Burnley

Swansea City host Burnley this weekend at the Liberty Stadium in what could prove to be a pivotal clash in their attempt to avoid relegation. Paul Clement has managed to turn around Swansea’s fortunes and another victory could prove vital. Burley, who have been good at home this season haven’t quite been able to replicate their form in away fixtures. Expect the Swans to come out on top in this weekends fixture.
