The Premier League continues to thrill fans around the world and week 31 is unlikely to be any different, writes DEAN WORKMAN.

Seven things to expect from this weekend’s Premier League action:

1) Another home draw for MUFC

Manchester United have suffered a record number of home draws this season with their latest draw coming on Saturday in their 0-0 draw against West Brom. The dropped point have proved costly as they sit outside the top four going into their midweek clash against Everton. The Toffees suffered a damaging loss to cross-town rivals Liverpool on the weekend and will be desperate for a response. In a game which Everton and United would not want to lose a draw can be expected.

2) Coutinho to shine in Mane’s absence

Phillipe Coutinho looks to finally be regaining his form following an injury which threatened to derail his season. The Brazilian was the star performer against Everton on the weekend as his goal and assist catapulted his team to the three points. Liverpool takes on Bournemouth this Wednesday at Anfield and expects Coutinho to show yet again that he is back to his best.

3) City to blow open title race?

Chelsea host Manchester City this Wednesday in the standout fixture of the round. Chelsea suffered a shock home loss to Crystal Palace last time out whereas City battled to a 2-2 draw with Arsenal. In a game which could prove to have huge ramifications on the title, could Chelsea finally start to be feeling the pressure? Expect City to go all out at Stamford Bridge to try and blow the title race wide open.

4) Leicester to continue winning streak against Sunderland

Since Craig Shakespeare took over at the Foxes they are unbeaten, wining four games in a row. Sunderland, on the other hand, sits at the bottom of the table and look to be drifting ever closer to relegation. Expect the Champions to continue their good run and pick up the three points against a struggling Sunderland side.

5) Hull to continue survival fight

Hull City claimed a vital 3 points last time out West Ham with a 2-1 victory which gave their survival fight new hope. This game week they take on relegation rivals Middlesbrough in what could prove to be a vital match for both teams. This proverbial six-pointer will be played out at the KCOM stadium, expect Hull to take full advantage of their home ground advantage and pick up their second win in a row which could reignite their survival chances.

6) Sanchez to sink West Ham

Arsenal host West Ham United in what has become a must-win game for the Gunners. Although their form has been indifferent of late, star man Alexis Sanchez has continued to perform for club and country. Expect the Chilean to be at it again as he goes up against a team who he loves playing against.

7) Spurs to keep on winning

Tottenham Hotspurs travel to the Liberty Stadium to take on a Swansea side who are fighting for their survival. Spurs will be desperate to pick up another three points and keep the pressure on table-toppers, Chelsea, as will Swansea who sit just one point out of the drop zone. Expect a tightly contested game which will likely be edged by the side from North London.
