Mamelodi Sundowns have urged their supporters to turn up in thousands for their Caf Champions League clash against AS Vita Club on Sunday.

The African champions are set to take on the Congolese side in their final Group C encounter at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Sundowns have already qualified for the next round of the competition following a victory over St George in their penultimate match, but they will not take the match as a dead rubber.

The Brazilians will be going all out in the encounter and hope that Group C leaders Esperance falls short against St George, in order for Pitso Mosimane’s side to finish top of their group.

Sundowns communications co ordinator Thulani Thuswa has called on the the Sundowns faithful’s to come out in numbers to support the team during their final Group C encounter.

‘We know we can create the same vibe. We have done it before, so let’s go out there and make it a big day for the Tshwane Giants,’ Thuswa told the club’s official website.

‘The captain has asked for this and appealed for a high turnout. A siyeni Masandawana.’

Mamelodi Sundowns against AS Vita Club kicks off at 17:00.
