Stellenbosch FC have confirmed that forward Thulani Mini has parted ways with the club.

The 23-year-old joined the Maroons from Chippa United during the 2023-24 season.

The left winger has since gone on to feature six times during his time at Stellenbosch.

The Cape Winelands side and Mini have agreed to part ways with each other after a mutual agreement.

Mini becomes the fourth player to leave the club, behind Brian Onyango, Shaakir Ahmed, Liam De Kock and Ismael Toure.

“Stellenbosch Football Club can confirm that forward Thulani Mini has left the club following a mutual agreement to part ways,” Stellies said in a statement.

“Mini joined Stellenbosch FC in 2023 and made six first-team appearances during his time in the Winelands, while also helping the reserve team win the DStv Diski Challenge title during the 2023/24 season.

“However, he found limited opportunities at senior level for the club, and both parties have agreed that a move is in the best interest of his development, allowing him the opportunity to gain regular minutes and showcase his talents elsewhere.

“We thank Thulani for his efforts and professionalism and wish him all the best in the next stage of his career.”
