Nasreddine Nabi felt Kaizer Chiefs and Sekhukhune United deserved to walk away with a point at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
The Glamour Boys shared the spoils with Sekhukhune after playing out to a 1-1 draw when Makabi Lilepo cancelled out Ngoanamello Rammala early goal.
The draw sees Amakhosi remain in eighth place on the log with 32 points after winning eight, drawing eight and suffering 12 defeats in 28 matches.
Chiefs will be hoping to return to winning ways when they welcome Polokwane City to the FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
“It’s a deserved point, but we feel the three points could’ve gone either way,” Nabi told SuperSport TV.
“The two teams both had chances to score but with all the absentees we had we knew that it’s a deserved point.”
The match between Kaizer Chiefs and Polokwane City is scheduled to kick off at 3pm on Saturday.
