Kaizer Chiefs winger Glody Lilepo has opened up on how he has adapted to playing football in South Africa.

The DR Congo international joined Amakhosi from French outfit Valenciennes FC during the January transfer window.

The 27-year-old has since scored six goals and registered one assist in 18 appearances across all competitions

Lilepo has since spoken out about his time in South Africa and how he has adapted to life at Chiefs.

“I think I have adapted pretty well, although there’s much room for improvement,” Lilepo told his club’s official website.

“I have followed SA football for many years and played multiple times against Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League when I was playing for Al-Hilal in Sudan, so I knew where I was going when signing for Chiefs.

“It’s great! From the facilities to Club operations, we have a lot of people working and taking care of us so we can focus on our mission.

“The management and staff do a lot to help us, the team, so we are aware that we must fight for them on the field.”
