First-round leader Ashleigh Buhai shot a second round 71 to head into Saturday chasing Germany’s Karolin Lampert by one at the Investec South African Women’s Open in Cape Town.
Ashleigh Buhai completed a commanding wire-to-wire victory and collected her eighth Sunshine Ladies Tour trophy with a five-shot winning margin in the Joburg Ladies Open at Modderfontein Golf Club on Friday.
The most engrossing season since the Sunshine Ladies Tour launched in 2014 is heading for a dramatic conclusion in this week’s Chase to the Investec Cup for Ladies Final. England’s Kiran Matharu aims to finish as the tour’s number one player for 2017.
