Reigning world champion Marc Marquez has moved to the top of the MotoGP championship standings after winning the German Grand Prix.

The Spaniard started from pole position and went on to claim his second victory of the season.

Germany’s Jonas Folger came second to earn a first podium finish, with Spain’s Dani Pedrosa third.

Spain’s Maverick Vinales finished fourth and Itay’s Valentino Rossi fifth.
