England forward Daniel Sturridge was left feeling ‘unbelievable’ after his injury time winner broke the hearts of neighbours Wales.

Introduced as a substitute, Sturridge finished calmy after creating the chance after some fine interplay with Jamie Vardy, sending English fans into hysterics in Lens.

‘It’s a great feeling, unbelievable. It’s just a beautiful feeling to represent your country in the rivalry against another great country. It’s a brilliant feeling.’ Sturridge said after the match.

‘It’s crazy, it’s only one more game in the group so no one wants to get too excited.

‘I’m not getting too excited, but the atmosphere is unbelievable. There’s not many games where you experience an atmosphere like this, so it’s an amazing feeling.’

England now lead Group B on four points, one ahead of Wales and Slovakia as Russia trail on one point.
