Southampton fell to a 1-0 defeat against Sparta Prague in their penultimate Europa League Group K clash at Letna on Thursday night.

Costa Nhamoinesu scored an 11th-minute winner for the home side to secure their place in the knockout stages with one match remaining.

Southampton will next take on Hapoel Be’er Sheva in their final Group K match at the St Mary’s Stadium on 8 December, in a must-win or draw to advance.
