Alexis Sanchez stars as Arsenal secured a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Chile forward gave the Gunners an early lead before Callum Wilson equalised with a penalty before the interval.

Theo Walcott headed home to put his side ahead before Sanchez completed his brace to secure all three points for his side.

The Chilean forward played an important part for the Gunners by taking four shots at goal with two shots on target, while all four strikes came from inside the box.

According to SportsClub’s Opta-powered match stats, Alexis Sanchez managed to complete 74 touches on the ball after spending 90 minutes on the field.

The Arsenal forward completed 34 out of 47 passes on the ball with 38.3% coming from the right while 31.9% came from the front going forward.

In defence, the forward won seven out of 18 duels while winning 100% (two out of two) of his tackles. He also won two fouls for his side while conceding one at the Emirates Stadium.

Sanchez also completed 50% (one out of two) crosses while creating five chances going forward in attack.

Arsenal controlled the match and had the best possession (51.8%), while Bournemouth could only manage 48.2% of the possession.

Meanwhile, the Gunners had more shots on goal than Bournemouth, producing 16 chances at goal compared to nine efforts respectively.
