A brace by Stefano Okaka inspired Watford to come from behind to clinch a 3-2 victory over a struggling Everton side at Vicarage Road in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Toffees got off to a bright start in the opening exchanges of the match and broke the deadlock in the 17th minute when striker Romelu Lukaku netting his first goal in five Premier League matches.

However, the home side did well to respond with a goal of their own in the 36th minute when Nordin Amrabat’s cross found Stefano Okaka at the near post before putting the ball into the back of the net with a fine spinning flick.

Everton were then undone by two set-pieces, with the first coming in the 59th minute when Sebastian Prodl was left unmarked to header the ball home from a free-kick.

The home side then extended their lead in the 64th minute when Okaka grabbed his second of the game with a glancing effort from a corner to beat Everton goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

In the 86th minute, Lukaku reduced the deficit to a goal with a header of his own but Ronald Koeman’s side could not find the equalising goal and have now gone five games without a win in the Premier League as the home side collected all three points.
