Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho believes his side deserved all three point after beating Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park on Wednesday night.

A 66th-minute goal from James McArthur cancelled out Paul Pogba’s goal before Ibrahimovic sealed the victory for his side, two minutes from full time.

The Portuguese manager believes his side deserved the victory after the Red Devils ‘super dominant’ performance, while also insisting that his side were the best team on the day.

‘We deserved it, we were the best team, they [Palace] had just a little reaction, just a little reaction, but they had it and they scored a goal in that period. Then we had the best period in the game,’ Mourinho told the Manchester United website.

‘In the first half we had control but in the last 20 minutes, we were super dominant. We created a lot, had a big desire and we won deservedly in the end.’

Manchester United are next in action against West Bromwich Albion at 19:30 on Saturday.
