Morata return confirmed

Juventus have confirmed the details of striker Alvaro Morata’s return to Real Madrid, though the young forward’s future at Los Blancos remains uncertain.

The terms of Real Madrid’s buy-back of Morata were confirmed by the Turin club on Wednesday that will see the player return to the Bernabeu two years after departing the club.

Real will reportedly pay of fee of €32 million to activate the clause in the 23-year-old’s contract, allowing him to rejoin the European Champions.

‘Juventus Football Club can today confirm that Alvaro Morata will return to Real Madrid after two seasons in Turin following the Spanish outfit’s decision to activate the forward’s buy-back clause,’ a statement on the club’s official website read.

‘All associated with Juventus Football Club would like to wish Alvaro the very best of luck wherever his future may take him and thank him for two truly excellent years of service to the team.

‘Gracias, Alvaro,’ the statement concluded.

Morata managed 12 goals in 47 appearances for Juventus last term.
