Manchester City have committed themselves to finding a new club for unwanted goalkeeper Joe Hart.

With a just week left before the transfer window closes, England’s first choice goalkeeper Hart is desperate to secure a move away from the club following the arrival of Chilean shot-stopper Claudio Bravo.

Hart has seen his stock at City plummet following the arrival of Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, who demoted the star  in favour of reserve goalkeeper Willy Caballero on account of his poor ability with his feet.

The 29-year-old Hart effectively bid farewell to the fans in his side’s 1-0 win over Steaua Bucharest on Wednesday. City entered the Champions League qualifier 5-0 up on aggregate.

‘I think we’re going to try to find a good solution for everybody,’City sporting director Txiki Begiristain said, reports Goal.

‘Now we have one week and we have to make him [Hart] happy and if he can find a solution and find a club where he has a real chance to play regularly. So we’re going to try to help him, because he deserves the best answer from us.’

City’s next clash sees them take on West Ham United at the Etihad on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 17:00.
