Carlo Ancelotti has officially been unveiled as the new head coach of the Brazil national team.
The Italian tactician was unveiled as the new head coach of Brazil in a press conference which took place at the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) headquarters.
The 65-year-old joins Selecao after spending the last four years in charge of Real Madrid, where he won 15 trophies, including three Champions League titles and two La Liga titles.
Ancelotti brings a wealth of experience, having previously coached the likes of AC Reggiana, AC Parma, Juventus FC, AC Milan, Chelsea FC, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, SSC Napoli, Everton FC and two stints at Real Madrid.
“I have a big job ahead of me,” Ancelotti said.
“I’m delighted, the challenge is great. I’ve always had a special connection with this team. We’re going to work to make Brazil champions again.
“I’m honoured and proud to lead the best team in the world.”
