Manchester United cruised to a comfortable  3-1 victory over Sunderland while Chelsea eased past Bournemouth in the Premier League on Monday.

The Reds Devils got off to a bright start and broke the deadlock in the 39th minute when Daley Blind combined with Ibrahimovic to net the opener, charging into the area and before guiding the ball into the bottom corner.

After the first 45 minutes of play, United went into the half time interval with a 1-0 lead over the Black Cats.

However, Ibrahimovic then doubled his side’s lead in the 81st minute when Paul Pogba won possession of the ball before playing in the Swedish striker through on goal. as he calmly slotted the ball past Pickford.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan all but sealed the victory in the 86th minute when the Armenian midfielder put the ball into the back of the net from an Ibrahimovic’s cross as his side walked away with all three points.

Meanwhile, Chelsea extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to 12 matches as they claimed a 3-0 victory over Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge through a brace by Pedro and a penalty by Eden Hazard.

Struggling Swansea City slumped to a third consecutive defeat in the Premier League against West Ham United following their 4-1 defeat at the Liberty Stadium.

Arsenal claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at the Emirates Stadium courtesy of a goal from French striker Olivier Giroud in the 86th minute, while Burnley secured a 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough at Turf Moor through a goal by Andre Gray.

Everton return to winning ways after goals by Belgium duo Kevin Mirallas and Romelu Lukaku secured their side a 2-0 victory over defending champions Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
