Branden Grace was one of 13 players to be added to The Masters field after retaining his place in the top 50 in the Official Golf World Ranking.

The final ranking of 2018 provided a spot for players finishing inside the top 50 in the world and not already exempt.

The 2017 Nedbank Golf champion, who secured two top five finishes on the PGA TOUR in 2018 and dropped twenty rankings places year on year, finished The Masters in a share of 24th in 2018.

He joins Alex Noren, Tyrrell Hatton, Rafa Cabrera Bello, Eddie Pepperrell, Kiradech Aphibarnrat, Ian Poulter, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Haotong Li, Thorbjorn Olsen, Matt Wallace, Lucas Bjerregaard and Emiliano Grillo in the field for the invite-only Major at Augusta.

Fellow South Africans Charl Schwartel, Trevor Immelman, Louis Oosthuizen and leading amateur Jovan Rebula have already secured their place in the field.

The 2019 Masters will be defended by Patrick Reed and is played from April 11-14.
