Ahead of Bafana Bafana’s Africa Cup of Nations last-16 encounter against Egypt, take a look at SoccerClub‘s predictions as the Egyptians look set to defeat South Africa to advance to the quarter-final.

The South African national team advanced to the knockout stages of the tournament through the back door after Mali secured a 1-0 victory over Angola in their final Afcon clash on Monday, after which Stuart Baxter’s side progressed to the round of 16 as the fourth-best third-placed team.

Bafana will now take on the Pharos for a chance to book their place in the quarter-final of the continental tournament.

Here are our predictions for Bafana’s final Group D match:

Wade Pretorius:

Egypt 3-0 South Africa

Dylan Appolis:

Egypt 2-0 South Africa

Juandre Joubert:

Egypt 2-0 South Africa

Dean Workman:

Egypt 2-1 South Africa

John Goliath:

Egypt 0-0 South Africa (Bafana Bafana wins 4-3 on penalties)
